Nov 17, Stellar 3d Test Client

The Link to the test client has been changed to: http://www.gecko-games.com/test2/main.html

It's a compressed file so should run smoother.

Game is a BASIC deathmatch server. 100 shots to kill opponents base. Base doesn't fire right now.

Control
W A S D (accel/rotate)
Q E (Strafe)
Mouse wheel rotate for zoom
Click and drag mouse to rotate camera
Enter for chat (or click chat box)

Chat command /*grid to turn on and off the grid

FYI, chat is limited to roughly 40 characters, so if you are talking, keep messages small.

Game is set to run for roughly 200 ping, if people are getting higher ping times I can change it a bit.

Awesome, the movement felt like a Subspace 3D. The ship reminded me of something else.

Laugh, I don't even know if I still have the files for that. Too much of an issue to deploy that version so I stopped doing it. If I decide to go 3d flight, I still have some remnants of the old server code left.

I needed a simple model to test loading of images, and a place holder

It was the first type of image that came into my mind... hmmm....

Heh, well, the flash version is done for, 3d runs nice and smooth, just needs more work into it :(
