June 12th update

Fixed the mouse controls for 3D when using firefox.
Added 3D flight controls to game pads. (disabled in firefox as the api changed)
Added vertical thrust in 3D zone

Missiles is now default T key
With Vertical thrusting being R and F
Keybing for locking mouse L

Can the next update perhaps add a freighter?
I don't think I could allow myself to take advantage of the 2D movement of the AI to grind base-kills.

I have some of the old 3D code for AI left, I might look at turning AI to 3D.
I could add a freighter ship, but i dont think there's much worth grinding for right now, heh

Im also thinking about allowing people to build custom ships rather than my crappy premade ones.

Well, I suppose there isn't really much to grind for right now, your right.
But of course, it's never bad to save up for your expensive endeavors.
Making models? If I had any clue how to 3D-ify my old stuff (well, I need to FIND it first), I might try.

Thinking of possibly making a ship builder, where there is pre-set wings, hull structures, engines, etc, that you can make your own ship. Need to look at how to code it before really going through with it.

Next update, AI can fly in three dimensions.

Updated AI to fly in three dimensions, it's not perfect and the bases still only attack on two dimensions, but it does look interesting.

Giving innovation to the players! Is it me or does that generally help?

The new 3d combat is interesting.
Is it possible to up the sensitivity of the mouselock?
I don't think it's my DPI, but it seems a little sluggish.

It's slugish in the fact that you can only turn your ship at a maximum speed, unlike a FPS game when you can spin 360's at whatever rate you want. I placed in a mouse sensitivity slider (for next update) , but like i said, there is still a max turn rate.
